 C: First Word Address of Control Data
Set the first word address to configure the required control data for Message communications.
The CompoNet Master Unit requires to be previously set the following control data to consecutive
word addresses.

*1 Set how many bytes the command data storage area occupies from the first word address S.
*2 Set how many bytes the response data storage area occupies from the first word address D.
*3 In word address C + 4, bit 15, set whether the response is required (0) or not required (1).
For Explicit Messages, this must be set to 0 (Response required).
*4 Set the port used for CompoNet.
*5 Set the how many times the message is to be resent in case of an error response.
*6 For Explicit Messages, this must be set to 2 seconds or more.

When to Issue/Read an Explicit Message

An example of input conditions for issuing the CMND instruction is shown below. Note that the CMND
instruction can be executed only once per communications port. Do not execute the CMND instruction
when the Network Communications Command Execution Enabled Flag corresponding to each port is
set to 0 (OFF).
When to Issue an Explicit Message
The CMND instruction must be issued with a condition which the CS/CJ-series unit's Network Commu-
nications Command Execution Enabled Flag is set.
