 Registration Tables
The Registration Table registers each node address and corresponding model of Slave Units, which
should participate in the network, from CX-Integrator. This function checks the participating Slave
Units and prevents unregistered Slave Units from participating in the network. After the power sup-
ply is turned ON, the monitoring time until registered Slave Units participate in the network can also
be set.
The Registered Slave Unit Participation Standby Mode function stops Remote I/O communications
until all registered Slave Units are participating in the network. Remote I/O communications can be
started once all registered Slave Units participate.
Additional Information
To use the Registration Tables function on this CompoNet Communications Unit, select one of
the eight types of Remote I/O. The function is enabled only when a type of Remote I/O that
occupies IN 2/OUT 2 words is selected.
 Stopping Communications at Communications Errors
The DIP switches on the front of the Master Unit can be set to stop communications when a commu-
nications error occurs. When the setting is enabled, the function will stop the entire I/O communica-
tions if a communications error occurs in any of the Slave Units.
 I/O Communications Manual Startup Mode
I/O Communications Manual Startup Mode can be set from CX-Integrator to disable remote I/O com-
munications when the power is turned ON. Remote I/O communications will start once the Remote
I/O Communications Start Switch is turned ON.
 Communications Error Input Data Zero Clear Mode
Input Data Zero Clear Mode can be set from CX-Integrator for communications errors. If a communi-
cations error occurs for a Slave Unit in this mode, all input (IN) data for that Slave Unit will be
cleared to zeros. This can be used to suppress triggering operations when communications errors
occur in systems where ON input data signals are used as triggers for operation.
