Reset Mode Setting
For the MX2/RX-series, by default, the Reset mode is set to Always enabled. This means that resetting
the inverter also resets the CompoNet Communications Unit, which in turn causes the communication
connection to be reset.
To prevent the communication connection from being reset when the inverter is reset, OMRON recom-
mends the following setting.
For details about this parameter, refer to the MX2 User's Manual (Cat. No. I570) or RX User's Manual
(Cat. No. I578).

occurs.

02: Ignore
03: Free-run stop
04: Deceleration stop

00: Trip (Default)
01: Trip after deceleration stop
02: Ignore
03: Free-run stop
04: Deceleration stop
For other types of Remote I/O that use CompoNet communi-
cations, the number of poles on the motor is set for the Rota-
tion Rotation Speed Reference.
However, this setting is disabled for Remote I/O types that uti-
lizes Modbus communication.
This parameter is fixed to the frequency value (0.01 Hz)
regardless of the value you set.
