COMPLAINT
Cutter wheel stops turning.
Roar in machine when
cutter wheel is engaged.
Bearing will not take
grease.
Machine will not operate
with remote.
Traction loss of power.
Popping/clicking noise in
rear end when moving
wheel machine.
Track too loose.
NOTE: For all Radio Transmitter or Receiver Problems, refer to Manufacturer's Manual.
SP6016
CAUSE
• Belt not engaged.
• Belt loose.
• Engine belt broke.
• Poly Chain® belt broken.
• Sheared key in shaft.
• Broke cutter wheel shaft.
• Belt guard is out of place and
rubbing on jack shaft or cutter
wheel shaft.
• Jackshaft or cutter wheel
bearings going bad.
• Grease fitting clogged.
• On/Off switch on control panel
is not in the Remote On
position.
• On/Off switch is bad.
• Hydraulic motor worn.
• Hydraulic pump going bad.
• Dual Wheel spacer not properly
aligned with inner hub.
• Loose dual wheel center bolt.
• Tire pressure low on inner dual
wheel.
• Tensioning cylinder too low on
grease.
>WARNING:
DO NOT OVER GREASE, TRACKS WILL BOW.
TROUBLSHOOTING GUIDE
CORRECTION
• Adjust yoke assembly.
• Tighten belt.
• Replace belt.
• Replace belt.
• Replace key.
• Replace shaft.
• Re-position guard off shaft
and tighten bolts.
• Replace bearings.
• Replace fitting
• Shutdown machine and
switch to the Remote On
position, then restart.
• Replace switch.
• Replace Hydraulic motor.
• Replace Hydraulic pump.
*Refer to dealer/service center.
• Remove spacer, check hub
bolts for tightness then align
spacer to inner hub and tighten
center bolt.
• Tighten center bolt.
• Check for air leaks. Repair/
replace tire and add proper air
pressure to inner wheel.
• See Maintenance Section on
Tensioning Tracks.
