18.1 Meter Controller/Driver Functions
The meter controller/driver is a function to drive a stepping motor for external meter control or cross coil.
• Can set pulse width with a precision of 8 bits
• Can set pulse width with a precision of 8 + 1 bits with 1-bit addition function
• Can drive up to four 360˚ type meters
Figure 18-1 shows the block diagram of the meter controller/driver, Figure 18-2 shows 1-bit addition circuit block
diagram.
