9.1 8-Bit Timer/Event Counters 2 and 3 Functions

The 8-bit timer/event counters 2 and 3 operate as an 8-bit timer/event counter.
TM2 and TM3 can have the following functions.
• Interval timer
• External event counter
• Square wave output
• PWM output
Figure 9-1 shows timer 2 block diagram, and Figure 9-2 shows timer 3 block diagram.
