5.1.3.6. Check of the manual commands
W
!
During this phase of the axis configuration procedure the electronic limit switches
ARNING
are disabled; be careful while using the manual commands.
•
Set a JOG speed equal to 10% of the maximum speed.
•
Send the JOG+ command.
•
Check that the axis is moving in a positive direction.
•
Send the JOG- command.
•
Check that the axis is moving in a negative direction.
5.1.3.7. Check of the axis unit of measure
•
Place the axis in a known mechanical point, pointA, near the minimum limit switch.
•
Detect the axis ideal value, positionA.
•
Place the axis in a known mechanical point, pointB, near the maximum limit switch.
•
Detect the axis ideal value, positionB.
•
Measure the distance, DISTANCE, between pointA and pointB
•
Check that the measured distance, DISTANCE, is equal to positionB - positionA

5.1.3.8. Calibration of the Absolute Encoder
•
Place the axis in the mechanical reference point.
•
Detect the value of the absolute encoder.
•
Write the detected value in the EAbsQRef parameter.
•
Save the parameters in Flash.
•
Take the DGFC card first to the READY status and afterwards to the RUN status.
5.1.3.9. Zero Cycle execution
•
Send the StartCycle0 command.
•
Check that the zero cycle has been completed in the right way.
