Connecting an auxiliary ringer

An auxiliary ringer is a customer-supplied piece of hardware that provides
external ringing capability to telephones on the BCM450 system.
Prerequisites
You must not connect auxiliary ringer to unprotected plant wiring. The
ringer must not draw more than 50 mA from a 40 V DC source.

Action
Install the auxiliary ringer using the installation instructions supplied with the
ringer hardware.
Connect the ringer generator to the auxiliary ringer connection on the Base
Function Tray.
