Using Microsoft Internet Explorer with Web cache If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or older with the Web cache functionality of Instant Internet, you may not be able to use Internet Explorer to update the cache. In this case, you have to wait until the cache content expires. Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 5.5 SP1 and newer have corrected this problem.

During the power-up sequence, your Instant Internet unit checks the settings of the configuration switches to determine certain configurations. If switch number 4 is on, the Aux port connection speed is set to 9600 baud. If switch number 4 is off, the Aux port connection speed is set to 115200.
