BCM450 main unit installation

This chapter describes how to install a BCM450 main unit. You can install the
main unit in a standard 19-inch equipment rack, on a wall, or on a desktop.
Prerequisites to main unit installation
• To operate the BCM450 main unit at the optimal internal temperature,
ensure the top, sides, and rear clear of obstructions and away from the
exhaust of other equipment.
• Ensure no objects are on top of the main unit.
