2.7.3 Serial cable

Introduction
The serial cable is used to connect the serial interface of the Gazelle S1503i to the peer device.
It transmits status information and data collected from devices, such as sensors, detectors,
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and intelligent terminals, to the standard TCP/IP
network.
The Gazelle S1503i supports RS-232 and RS-485 half duplex serial interface modes.
