PCMCIA Cards

Problem
You are having trouble accessing data
on a PCMCIA card or some of the
data appears to be missing.
The scandisk utility reports no errors
and you're still experiencing
problems.
Data files are damaged or corrupted.

Memory Conflicts

Microsoft Windows controls memory management. If you experience a problem with memory
management, please refer to Windows help files or a commercially available Windows guide. If a
particular program causes the memory error, refer to the documentation for that program.

Solution
Run the scandisk utility, which analyzes the
directories, files and the File Allocation Table (FAT)
on the card.
Can you access the PCMCIA card? Try to view the
contents of the folders. If the folder doesn't display all
the files stored in the folder, recovering data is
unlikely.
Refer to your software documentation for file recovery
procedures. Many software packages automatically
create backup files or restore points.
