USER PROGRAMS
Besides the 15 preset programs, you may select additionally between 3 different user programs, which allow
you to set up your own training profiles: U1, U2, U3
1. Press the SELECT button until you reach the "U1- indication" in the display. Set your target exercise
time by pressing the SPEED or INCLINE +/- button (can still be adjusted after completion of the user
program setting). Confirm your time setting by pressing the ENTER button.
2. The computer automatically divides your target exercise time into 10 equal sections. The TIME display
will now show the program steps (10 in total). Each step needs to be programmed with speed and
incline. To do so, please increase / decrease both values by pressing the SPEED and / or INCLINE +/-
button. Confirm your desired speed and incline per level by pressing the ENTER button. The display will
automatically jump to the next section (10 in total)
3. Program each of the ten sections by entering your target speed and incline, run through this procedure
until all set ups are finalized
4. Start your individual user program by pressing the START button
5. The data will be saved without loss even if the treadmill is in power- off mode.
HEART RATE PROGRAMS
The treadmill uses two heart rate programs (HR 1 and HR 2). In these programs, the treadmill will automatically
adjust speed and / or incline to reach your target heart rate. For this it is mandatory to wear a chest belt (heart
beat measurement) or permanentally hold onto the hand pulse plates on the side rails.
1. Press the SELECT button until you reach the "HR1 - indication" in the display. Set your target exercise
time by pressing the SPEED or INCLINE +/- button (can still be adjusted after completion of the user
program setting). Confirm your time setting by pressing the ENTER button.
2. The time window will now display a default age. Set your individual age by pressing the SPEED or
INCLINE +/- button and confirm by pressing the ENTER button. Based on your age and your user
weight (set at the beginning), the treadmill calculates an optimum target heart rate which is displayed in
the time window. You may still adjust your target heart rate by pressing the SPEED or INCLINE +/-
button. Confirm your target heart rate by pressing the ENTER button.
3. Begin with the exercise by pressing the START button. During the first minute (warm up phase), the
treadmill will not change the speed or incline. After ther warm up phase, the treadmill will automatically
increase / decrease speed and / or incline until your target heart rate is reached.
IMPORTANT: To use the heart rate programs, it is mandatory to permanentally stay connected to the hand
pulse or (better) wear a chest belt transmitter
SAFETY FUNCTION
If at any stage you need the treadmill to stop, pull the safety cord form the treadmill and it will cut power to the
unit immediately.
POWER SAVE FUNCTION
Without any operation for ten minutes the unit will begin to hibernate, and the display will dim. Press any button
to wake up the display again.
CAUTION
1. We recommend that you maintain a slow speed at the beginning of a session and hold on to the
handrails until you become comfortable and familiar with the treadmill.
2. Attach the magnet end of the safety pulling rope to the computer and also attach the clip of the safety
pulling rope to your clothing.
3. To end your workout safely, press the STOP button or pull out the safety cord, then the treadmill will
stop immediately.
