Step 3: Select the role, user name and password for the new account per the details shown below. Then select the option to create user to
save the new user account. Verify that a success message appears at the top of the accounts screen.

Role: Select between Tenant (personal control user) and System Administrator (admin user). Other roles are for use with the Insight
Manager and Lighting Xpert Interface software package and will not be used for standalone Wireless Area Controller administration.
User Name: Usernames can contain up to 32 characters and may include letters, numbers, and a limited set of special characters.
Special characters that may be used include - _ ' . .
Password: The password must be between 8 and 16 characters and must contain at least 1 upper case letter, 1 number and
1 special character. The special characters that may be used are "#$'()*,-./:;<=>?@[]^_`{|}~ .

Deleting a User Account

To delete a user account:
Step 1: Establish a connection form the computer and the Wireless Area Controller as the system administrator user.
Step 2: In the accounts page, locate the desired user in the list, then select the X button.
Select either Admin or Tenant role
Type the desired username
Enter and confirm the
desired password
Accounts page
Select user to delete
Verify success message
at the top of the
accounts page
