Boom Adjustment Order

Carry out adjustments in the following order:
1. Trapeze suspension and centre section.
2. Inner wing.
3. Outer wing(s).
4. Breakaway.

Alignment of Centre and Inner Wings

1. Unfold the boom and check the alignment of the inner wing with
the centre section.
2. If adjustment is necessary, then relieve the pressure from the fold
cylinder by folding the boom a few centimetres.
3. Disconnect the cylinder rod eye (A) from the inner section.
Note that some cylinder rods have a machined surface, which can
be used for adjustments. If using this one for adjustment, then
leave the rod eye pinned to the boom.
4. Loosen the counternut (B) and adjust the length of the rod eye (A).
• Turn IN = Moves the boom forward.
• Turn OUT = Moves the boom rearward.
5. Tighten the counternut (B) again.
6. Reattach the cylinder rod to the boom again, if it has been
removed.
7. Pressurize the cylinder to check boom alignment.
