8. Maintenance
Lubrication
The lubrication is an indispensable practice to assure a good performance and a
greater durability of the moving parts of your equipment, thus assuring a high performance
and reducing the maintenance costs.
To reduce the wear caused by the friction caused by the moving parts of the equipment,
it is necessary to carry out a proper lubrication, as indicated below:
a) Every 10 working hours, lubricate the articulations through the grease fittings as follows:
1. Be sure about the lubricant quality regarding the efficiency and purity, avoiding the
use of products contaminated by water, earth and so on.
2. Remove the remainder old grease around the articulations.
3. Clean the grease fitting with a cloth before introducing the lubricant and replace
the defective ones.
4. Apply an enough amount of new grease.
5. Use medium consistency grease.
Lubrication points
Lubricate every 10 working hours:
- Lubricate the points shown above and all grease fittings as well.
