BEGIN
1 Orient parts TP and RL on a fl at surface.
Hold parts TP and RL fl ush and aligned.

Assemble joist with 3" nails in a staggered pattern.

Turn assembled joist over and repeat staggered nail pattern.

Support joist and drill a 7/16" hole through each end (Fig. A).
Repeat steps to build a 2nd loft joist.
FINISH
Your loft joists are now assembled.
