3. Check the condition of the dust valve and replace if
required.
NOTE: If the dust valve is cracked, torn, remains
open, or is missing, dust particles that are
normally expelled can collect on the air filter
and shorten the air filter service life.
4. Open the air filter housing and remove the primary air
filter (2).
5. Clean the inside of the air filter housing with a clean
cloth.
