Intermec EasyCoder 501 S – Installation & Operation Ed. 1
As standard, the EasyCoder 501 S is fi tted with a solid door on its
right side. This door can easily be replaced by a door with a clear
panel that makes it possible to check the media supply without
opening the door.
Remove the existing door by opening it and pressing it forward until
the snap-lock at the rear hinges becomes disengaged. Remove the
door from the hinges and fi t the new door in reverse order.
The EasyCoder 501 S has one serial interface port ("uart1:"), see
Appendix 4. In addition to this port, the printer can be fi tted with
the following optional interface board:
• Parallel Interface Board
