2.2 Function
The protective cover provides a means of enclosing the Kenevo electronic knee joint, including
the tube adapter, to enhance its appearance and function. The housing of the knee joint is protec­
ted against external influences by the protective cover, e.g. scratching and surface contamination.
The protective cover is not required for the proper and safe functioning of the joint.
2.3 Combination possibilities
Prosthetic components that are suited for combination with the product are listed below.

3 Intended use
3.1 Indications for use
The product is to be used solely for lower limb exoprosthetic fittings.
3.2 Conditions of use
The product was developed for everyday use and must not be used for unusual activities such as
extreme sports (free climbing, paragliding, etc.).
3.3 Contraindications
All conditions which contradict or go beyond the specifications listed in the section on
"Safety" and "Indications for use".
3.4 Qualification
The fitting of patients with the product may only be carried out by qualified personnel (such as an
O&P professional).
