Placement of the personal restraint system integrated in the vehicle for transporting persons with
reduced mobility
1) Place the passenger in an upright seated position.
2) Pull each end of the restraint lap belt from the inner side of the seat between the upholstery and frame through
to the outside.
3) Engage the end of the restraint lap belt on the mounting point/pin (see fig. 52, item 1).
4) Tighten the strap, taking the user's comfort into account.
5) If required, attach the calf strap to the frame and position the passenger's feet behind the calf strap.
6) Secure the shoulder harness on the mounting point/pin provided on the lap belt (not illustrated).
→ The restraint lap belt is pulled through and fastened.
→ The belt runs between the upholstery and frame on each side.
