Use
The angle of the footplate has been set by the qualified personnel so that it allows the ankles to rest in a comfort­
able position (adjustment is not possible with a "fixed" footrest).

6.4.1 Adjusting the footrest (footplate)

The heights and angles of the "angle-adjustable" footrest (see fig. 10) and footrest for short lower leg lengths (not
pictured) can be adjusted by the qualified personnel. It is also possible to install heel blocks on both sides to stop
the feet from sliding into the area around the caster wheels.
The "fixed" footplate (see fig. 11) can be adjusted in height by qualified personnel.
Subsequent adjustments may be made only by qualified personnel.

6.4.2 Fastening/removing the calf strap

The calf strap offers additional support for the user's legs. It can be removed for cleaning.
Fastening the calf strap
1) Guide the calf strap around the frame tube above the caster attachment device (see fig. 12, item 1).
2) +Close the hook-and-loop closure (see fig. 12, item 2).
Removing the calf strap
1) Unfasten the hook-and-loop closure.
2) Remove the calf strap from the frame tube.

6.5 Seat cushion and back upholstery

WARNING
Seat cushion and back padding may ignite
Burns due to user error
► The seat and backrest upholstery as well as padding fulfil the requirements for flame resistance according to
ISO 8191-2 and DIN EN 1021-2. However, they may still ignite if fire is handled improperly or negligently.
► Keep away from all ignition sources, especially lit cigarettes.
