HYDRAULIC
HyDRAuLIC RESERvOIR
The auxiliary hydraulic pump system on your SAC Vertical Mixer uses hydraulic oil for operation. A hydraulic
oil reservoir assembly containing the hydraulic oil is located at the front of the machine behind the truck
cab. The reservoir is designed for maximum efficiency for use with the hydraulic system.

Always keep the hydraulic oil level within the sight glass located on the hydraulic reservoir. At no time is the
fluid level to be lower than the minimum recommended level, as damage to the hydraulic system will occur. If
the fluid level is higher than the maximum level, fluid may overflow the reservoir and cause fluid loss after fluid
warm-up. Check the fluid level daily and replace with recommended oil as needed. The hydraulic oil reser-
voir has a filter/breather cap assembly located on the top of the unit, which must be properly attatched to the
resrevoir at all times. The breather is removable to allow the filling of the reservoir. If the breather cap becomes
contaminated, remove the cap and clean it. Follow the instructions as described in the "Maintainance and
Service Information" section.
The (3) reservoir outlet lines are equipped with external shut off valves. This is a service feature and can be
closed so that items such as filters, pumps, and hoses can be serviced without draining the hydraulic system oil.
