Removing the EMI Shield

Your workstation may come with a preinstalled EMI shield. You must remove
this shield prior to installing an optional drive in bay 4.
To remove the EMI shield, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the workstation and disconnect the power cord from the
grounded AC outlet and the back of the workstation.
2. Remove the workstation cover and front bezel.
3. Remove hard drive from bay 5 (if installed.)
4. See the following illustration to remove the EMI shield.

NOTE: If you decide to remove the optional drive you installed (in bay 4), you
must reattach the EMI shield.
