7. TOOL SHRINKING DEPTH SETTING

7.1 Shrinking depth to be respected

7.2 Stop rod selection

The proper stop rods in chosen depending on its size B:
Note : When using finned support for Shrinkfit holder taper SA50 (ZFAD05S50), add 60 mm to the value B obtained.
In order to guarantee torque transmission and to increase service life of the
tool, recommended values for shrinking depth must be respected.
Find the minimum shrinking depth from the chart below (also on the device).
