    KINO-PVN-D5251/D4251/ Mini ITX SBC 4.4.1 SO-DIMM Installation To install a SO-DIMM, please follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-1. Figure 4-1: SO-DIMM Installation Step 1: Locate the SO-DIMM socket on the board (See the figure below). Place the board on an anti-static mat.

    OPEN a jumper means removing the plastic clip from a jumper. Before the KINO-PVN-D5251/D4251 is installed in the system, the jumpers must be set in accordance with the desired configuration. The jumpers on the KINO-PVN-D5251/D4251 are listed in T able 4-1.

To do this, use the jumper cap to close pins 2 and 3 for a few seconds then reinstall the jumper clip back to pins 1 and 2.

    The KINO-PVN-D5251/D4251 must be installed in a chassis with ventilation holes on the sides allowing airflow to travel through the heat sink surface. In a system with an individual power supply unit, the cooling fan of a power supply can also help generate airflow through the board surface.
