Small — Bass management is on (see page 4-4).
Large — Bass management is off (see page 4-4).
None — No signal is sent to that channel's output, effectively removing the speaker
from the current configuration. It is not an option for front speakers.
One Small Speaker, Two Small Speakers, One Large Speaker, Two Large
Speakers, or None (Surround back speakers only) — This option determines whether
the audio output channels for the back speaker(s) will be output to the Left Back
and Right Back (in 7.1 setups) or to the Center Back (in 6.1 setups). For more
information, see page 4-4.
Subwoofer — This option allows the subwoofer to be enabled or disabled. For
more information, see page 4-5.

Crossover

The Crossover Frequency sets the boundary below which the
low frequency signals from designated output channels are
incorporated into Bass Management. For more information, see
page 4-5. The crossover frequency is adjustable using the drop-
down menu:
From 40 - 80 Hz, increment and decrement in 5 Hz steps
From 80 - 150 Hz, increment and decrement in 10 Hz steps
From 150 - 250 Hz, increment and decrement in 25 Hz steps

Speaker configuration

The speaker configuration is displayed
in a graphics box that is very similar to
the graphics box shown in the Input/
Output Status bar.
Only the speakers available in the
current configuration will be displayed.
If the speakers are set to Large, they
will be represented by large icons, as
shown in the figure at right. If the
speakers are set to Small, they will be
represented by small icons.
If the speakers are set to none, they will
not be available in the current configuration and will not be displayed.
If the back speakers are set to 1 Large or 1 Small, the CB speaker, but not the LB and
RB speakers, will be shown (6.1 setups). If the back speakers are set to 2 Large or 2
Small, the LB and RB speakers, but not the CB speaker, will be shown (7.1 setups).

Input/Output information bar

The Input/Output Status bar is available from all GUI tabs and is described in
detail on page 5-5.

The Center speaker is set as an individual speaker.
Back Surround speaker(s) can be set as a single speaker or as a pair of speakers,
depending on the system configuration.
The Subwoofer can be set to
Present or None.
