Protect the switch and components from damage caused by ESD (electrostatic discharge). For more

Grounding the Chassis
Always wear an ESD wrist strap when handling the switch or its components. Ensure the strap is reliably
grounded to an unpainted metal grounding point when installing or removing switch components.
Hold management modules and line modules by their edges. Do not touch any electronic components

or printed circuitry.
Store uninstalled modules in antistatic bags.

Handle your Aruba 6400 Switch components with care. Rough or careless handling can damage the

components and result in unplanned down time.
