Switch packaging is not designed to accommodate transceivers installed in line modules. If you plan to re-
ship the switch in its original packaging, remove any transceivers installed in line modules before preparing
the switch for shipment.

Preparing the Chassis for a Two-Post Rack Mounting
Before you begin, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
A two-post equipment rack assembled and properly secured.

Two-post rack mount option selected.

The Aruba 6410 switch uses two front rack mounting brackets on each side.
If you plan to install the (included) cable manager on the switch, you must install the rack mounting
brackets in the front rack mount position, flanges flush with the front of the switch.
