Before manually moving an Aruba 6400 switch:
Remove both fan trays from an Aruba 6405 switch.

Remove all four fan trays from an Aruba 6410 switch.

2 Handle for inserting or removing fan tray
3 Latch
4 Screws for securing fan tray in chassis
Procedure
Handle your Aruba 6400 switch fan trays with care. Rough or careless handling can damage these
components and result in unplanned down time.
1. Select a fan tray to remove.
2. Loosen the retaining screws securing the fan tray to the chassis.
3. Depress the fan tray latch to release the right end of fan tray from the chassis.
4. Using the fan tray handle, swing the right end of the fan tray out of the slot and pull the fan tray
away from the slot.
