Maintenance

The Maintenance menus provide access to useful tasks, such
as configuration file import/export, data export, and storage
device formatting.

Config

Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front
panel of the recorder and tap Export to download a
configuration file of the recorder. The configuration files
contains all of the settings on the recorder and can be
copied to additional recorders. The file saves as "config"
on the root directory of the flash drive.
To upload a configuration file to a recorder, insert a USB
flash drive with a configuration file present on the root
directory, into the USB port on the front panel of the
recorder and tap Import.

Category

Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front
panel of the recorder and tap Export to download
categories of the recorder. Categories created in DVMS
PRO can be copied to additional recorders. The file saves
as "category info" on the root directory of the flash drive.
To upload a category file to a recorder, insert a USB flash
drive with a category file present on the root directory,
into the USB port on the front panel of the recorder and
tap Import.
