    ROADRECORDER® 7000 SERIES NVR USER GUIDE Rack Mount Use the following procedure to install the RoadRecorder 7000 NVR in a standard 19 inch (482.6 mm) equipment rack. Position the included rack mount L-brackets on the side of the unit as shown in the diagram at right.

Install the rack mount L-brackets as described in steps 1 and 2 of the Rack Mount procedure. Insert the RoadRecorder 7000 NVR into the lock box as you would an equipment rack.

  • Page 14 The computer recognizes the SD card as an external storage device. Use only SD cards obtained from Safety Vision. Reinsert the SD card in the same manner: push it straight in until a “click” is felt, then release.

    ROADRECORDER® 7000 SERIES NVR USER GUIDE Product Details The Product Details page displays factory configured identification fields as well as the status of SafeStor and the HDD. Product name: Model series of the NVR. Serial #: Individual serial number of the NVR (assigned at the factory).

    Click the Extract Now button to automatically download the NVR’s log file into a USB flash drive inserted into the standard USB port on the front of the NVR. The log file may be helpful to Safety Vision Technical Support when troubleshooting potential issues. Cell Modem First select internal or external in the Cell Modem type field.

Configuration is identical except Axis cameras must be configured with the login and password both set to root.
