13.5.4 Setting the actuation time
The actuation time is the length of time that the locking device remains engaged after an authorized locking
medium has been held in the reading field of the locking device.
The longer the actuation time, the more time persons have to actuate the locking device after
authentication with a locking medium. The maximum actuation duration is 180 seconds.
Required:
Time-Master (must be authorised for the locking device beforehand)
l
Procedure:
Steps
1. Hold the Time-Master in the reading field of the locking device.
The locking device starts sending short green signals. Each signal represents 1 second
of actuation time (e.g. five signals = five seconds of actuation time).
2. Hold the Time-Master in front of the locking device until the desired actuation time
is reached.
3. Remove the Time-Master from the reading field.
The set actuation time is stored.
The minimum actuation time is 2 seconds. If you remove the Time-Master
from the reading field after 1 second, the actuation time is set to 2 seconds.
The maximum actuation time is 180 seconds. Even if you hold the Time-
Master in the reading field for longer, the actuation time is set to 180
seconds.
A locking device in release mode remains constantly coupled, i.e. the door can be opened at any time
without having to use a locking medium.
