CAUTION! – Highly flammable!
Paraformaldehyde is flammable. The auto-
ignition temperature of paraformaldehyde
is 300 °C (572 °F).
For evaporation, do not use heating devi-
ces reaching temperatures above 250 °C
(477 °F)!
CAUTION! – Hazardous chemicals!
Paraformaldehyde in reaction with hydro-
gen will form BCME which is a hazardous
chemical.
When using paraformaldehyde, all resi-
dues of hydrogen chloride in the work
chamber of the cabinet must be removed!
Installations for disinfection:
1. Switch the cabinet off using the Power/Function
Key switch; disconnect the two power supply ca-
bles from the mains supply and protect them
against accidental reconnection.

3. Seal the exhaust opening [1] with plastic film or
with a plate using gas-tight tape.

onds. Repeat after 50%, 75%, and 100% of the
paraformaldehyde has evaporated.
10. Disconnect the power supply cable of the internal
outlet from the mains outlet.
