Tube drive
Installation:
9. Connect the eyelets of the two cables to the studs
at the tube drive. Wind the cables onto the tube
drive only so far that the tube drive can be con-
nected to the right bracket.
10. Position the left bracket and secure it with the
screws.
11. Check the winding of the cables and the position
of the guide spring. The guide spring must be po-
sitioned at half the height of the inspection cham-
ber.
12. Install the nuts to the studs of the tube drive and
tighten.
13. Disconnect the connection line (see Annex C).
14. Install and secure the control box cover.
15. Connect the unit to the mains supply and turn the
unit on.
16. Check the upper and lower stop positions of the
front window by raising and lowering the window.
The upper stop position is set correctly if the
work opening is not higher than 57 cm (22.4
in).
The lower stop position is set correctly if the
front window is located at the stop blocks. The
work opening must be completely closed, and
the cables must be tight, but not under ten-
sion.
17. Fig. 19: If required, adjust the stop positions:
Upper stop position: Move the adjuster
wheel [1] to the left until it reaches the stop.
For a higher stop position, rotate the wheel
upward; for a lower stop position, rotate the
wheel downward.
Lower stop position: Move the adjuster
wheel [1] to the right until it reaches the stop.
For a higher stop position, rotate the wheel
upward; for a lower stop position, rotate the
wheel downward.
18. Close the hood (see section 3.3).
