Opening the inspection chamber

The removal and installation of the inspection cham-
ber cover is required for all filter replacements and for
carrying out work to the plenum and to the blower.
This recurring process is described in this section and
will be referred to with the instruction "Open/close the
inspection chamber" in the sections to follow.
Opening the inspection chamber:
1. Close the front window [3] completely.
2. Switch the cabinet off using the Power/Function
Key switch; disconnect the two power supply ca-
bles from the mains supply and protect them
against accidental reconnection.
3. Loosen the two locking screws and remove them
from the hood bracket [4] with the spacers.
4. Open the hood.
5. Remove the two nuts [7] on the cable retainers,
then remove the cable [6].
6. Remove the retaining screws for the two guide
rails [2], then remove the guide rails with the hood
brackets.
7. Remove the six retaining screws [9] of the cover [8].
8. Separate the sealant in the joint [10] with a sharp
cutting tool.
9. Remove the cover.
Closing the inspection chamber:
1. Thoroughly remove all sealant residues from the
edges of the cover and from the housing frame.
2. Secure the cover with the six retaining screws.
3. Seal the joint between the cover and the housing
frame with sealant.
4. Check the cabinet for leakage (see section B4).
5. Secure the guide rails with the hood brackets us-
ing the retaining screws.
6. Push the turnbuckles over the studs and secure
them with the two nuts.
7. Adjust the window at the housing frame.
8. Push the stabilization spring [5] of the cables up
or down until it is at half the height of the cover.
9. Close the hood and secure it with the screws.
