Front window

Removal and installation of the front window:
NOTE - Safety precautions:
Observe the safety instructions!
Check decontamination of the unit!
Removal:
1. Move the front window downward until it reaches
the stop position.
2. Switch the cabinet off using the Power/Function
Key switch; disconnect the two power supply ca-
bles from the mains supply and protect them
against accidental reconnection.
3. Fig. 17: Open the hood (see section 3.3).
4. Remove the two retaining nuts [5] of the cable
tensioner, then remove the cable tensioners from
the studs.
5. Remove the three retaining screws [3] for the
guide rail [2] and remove the guide rail. This pro-
cedure includes the removal of the hood bracket
[1].
6. Remove the other guide rail and lift the front win-
dow off the stop blocks.
Installation:
7. Insert the front window with the bearings into the
guides of the four stop blocks.
8. Make sure the front window is in a central posi-
tion; the window must not be canted.
9. Secure the two guide rails using the center screw
to secure the hood bracket.
10. Push the turnbuckles over the studs and secure
them with the two nuts.
11. Check to see if the guide spring [4] is positioned
at approximately at half the height of the inspec-
tion chamber.
12. Close the hood (see section 3.3).
NOTE - Unit commissioning:
Prior to the commissioning of the unit:
Perform test run!
Check safety devices for proper opera-
tion!
