Retrofit Kit Instructions
15. Closing the control unit.
16. Reconnect the unit to the main power supply (power plug !).
17. Assembly laminator
Open the front window as wide as possible. .
Make a slot of weight 20 mm in the laminator for the transducer.
Measure the accurate position of the slot on the unit !
Place the perforated plate onto the rear seating with the beads facing upward.
Push the perforated plate backward, then place it onto the front seating.
Close the front window.
18. Perform a functional test run of the newly installed components.
19. Calibration of the air flow digital display
Adjust the display according to parameter list 50052555.
Description of the display:
The button 3 has the function to choose a parameter
or to acknowledge an input or to change an other parameter.
The button 1 and 2 have the function up and down, to choose an
other value.
Put the anemometer on the position in the work chamber,
where the mean air velocity is detected ( by calibration ).
Open the front window in working position and power keyswitch in position "Maintenance".
Waite until anemometer shows the air velocity of 0 m/s.
Then push button 3 so long until the display shows "0" - 10 ( "0" is blinking ).
Change the value with button 1 and 2 so that the display shows "0.00".
Turn on the unit, power keyswitch in "ON" position.
Waite until laminar airflow is stabil.
Push button 3 so long until the display shows 0 -"10" ("10" is blinking).
Change the value with button 1 and 2 so that the display shows the some value just as the
anemometer.
20. Perform an electrical safety inspection according to VDE 0701-1.
21. Perform a safety check according to EN 12 469.
22. Note the changes made during the retrofit in the unit' s logbook.
