3. Preparatory measures
3.3

Opening the hood

Since opening and closing the hood are recur proc -
esses, these processes are described in this section
and will be referred to with the instruction
"Open/close hood" in the sections to follow.
Opening the hood:
1. Switch the cabinet off using the Power/Function
Key switch; disconnect the two power supply ca-
bles from the mains supply and protect them
against accidental reconnection.
2. Fig. 4: Loosen the two locking screws [3] and
remove them with the spacers [2].
3. Raise the hood [1].
Closing the hood:
4. Unlock the hood by depressing the latch at the
hinge.
5. Lower the hood.
6. Push the spacers onto the locking screws.
7. Secure the hood with the two screws.

Opening the control box

The electrical components and the control compo-
nents are located in the control box under the hood.
After removal of the control box cover, the compo-
nents within the box are accessible.
1. Remove the five retaining screws [2].
2. Remove the cover [1].
3. To install, place the cover on the control box and
secure it with the screws.
