How to Set the Clock Characteristics
HP 81200 Data Generator/Analyzer Platform User Guide, Revision 2.1
3 If desired, set a global Delay Offset.
A global delay offset enables you to specify negative time offsets for
individual signals. Such signals appear in advance of the regular clock
pulse.
4 Check the Blocklength Granularity and Frequency Multiplier Range.
The blocklength granularity has an impact on the available memory
resources for generating or capturing data. The default setting of the
blocklength granularity is 4.
The Frequency Multiplier Range (FMR) determines the available
multiplication factors that can be used for multiplying the entered
system clock frequency. The blocklength granularity has an impact on
the available memory resources for generating or capturing data.
Depending on the desired clock rate you can choose a lower or higher
blocklength granularity.
