How to Execute Firmware Commands

You can also paste commands that have been copied to the clipboard from
external program files, such as an exported setting file. This works in both
directions and enables you also to create program files with any program
editor that allows copy and paste.
Buttons of the Command Line Editor
The Command Line Editor provides the following buttons:
• New Session: Clears the display area.
You can start to create a new sequence of commands to be combined in
a new session.
• Save Session: Saves the commands shown in the display area in a file on
disk.
The files are saved as command session (*.dcs) files in the
c:\hp81200\dsr\bin directory.
• Open Session: Used to open a previously saved session and execute it
immediately.
Select from the list of available command session files.
• Update GUI: The graphical user interface must be updated to reflect
changes caused by executed commands. This is done by clicking the
Update GUI button.
