How to Change the Characteristics
of a Port
You can:
• Delete the port
• Rename the port
• Add terminals to the port
After one or several of the port terminals have been connected to
instrument connectors, you can also
• Disconnect all terminals
• Set or change the port parameters

How to Delete a Port

To delete a port:
1 Open the port's context window.
2 Choose Delete.
3 Confirm.

How to Rename a Port

To rename a port:
1 Open the port's context window.
2 Choose Rename.
3 Overwrite or edit the old name.
4 Confirm with Enter.

How to Add a Terminal to a Port

To add a terminal to a port:
1 Open the port's context window.
2 Choose Insert Terminal.
The window shows the default terminal name (port name plus number)
and suggests the next higher position.
3 Keep or edit the terminal name.
