How Can I Create and Capture a Double-Speed PRWS?
HP 81200 Data Generator/Analyzer Platform User Guide, Revision 2.1
5 Use the Sequence Editor to create the test sequence and include the
PRWS data segment to be generated.

6 Use the Parameter Editor once more to set each odd channel (channels
1, 3, 5, 7) to a half-period delay. These are the channels which loose their
connectors after addition.
The random bits will be assigned to the generator channels as shown
below:

Bit Assignment to Digitally Added Channels
The combination of the RZ data format with the half-period delay of the
odd channels yields a digital data signal with twice the port frequency.
The XOR addition of two RZ signals (as performed by two added
generator channels) creates an NRZ signal. This is the input signal
applied to the DUT.
