Table 14 Troubleshooting reference
Problem
Alarm does not sound when an error is
encountered.
No output voltage. The status LED is
red.
975-0821-01-01
Possible Cause
Alarm is turned OFF.
AC shore power is not available or out of operating range and the inverter/charger has shut
down with the LCD screen showing one of the following error codes:
Low input voltage (error code E01)
High input voltage (error code E02)
Unit overload or AC output short
circuit (error code E03)
Thermal shutdown (error code E04) Allow the unit to cool off.
Solution
See Turning the Audible Alarm ON or OFF on page 60
and follow instructions to turn the alarm buzzer on
again.
Verify the unit is connected to a 12V battery.
Check the DC connections and the cable.
Recharge the battery.
Verify the unit is connected to a 12V battery.
Check the voltage regulation of the external charging
system (if any).
Reduce the load. Make sure the load does not exceed
the output rating.
Reduce the load if continuous operation is required.
Improve ventilation. Make sure the inverter/charger's
ventilation openings are not blocked.
