MANUAL RECEPTION MODE
This reception mode requires your presence to receive the calls.
In manual reception, you answer the call and decide whether it is a telephone or fax call. In the latter case,
you press START to receive the document.

The display shows the initial operating state with the date and time.
The machine is currently set to automatic reception mode.
1.
Press RX MODE to select manual reception mode.
2.
When the telephone rings, lift the handset. If somebody is trying
to send you a fax you will hear an intermittent tone.
3.
Press START.
The display first shows a message indicating that the connection
is being made, and then information relative to the incoming fax.
The fax is now being received.
4.
Replace your handset. On completion of the reception, the
display will show the message RX COMPLETED for a few
seconds, before returning to the initial operating mode.

•
the paper or ink runs out or there is a paper jam or the printer
cover is opened during reception, reception is interrupted, the
relative message is displayed and the document is temporarily
stored in the memory. Once the problem has been remedied,
the machine will resume reception of the fax.

you want to interrupt reception at any time:
1) Press STOP. The display will alternate between the
operating mode message and "RX INTERRUPTED" and a
message prompting you to press STOP.
2) Press STOP again to return to the original machine
operating mode.
