RECEIVED DOCUMENT PRINTING SET-UP PROCEDURES

Received document printing is controlled by the relative sub-menu shown
opposite. See section: CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS.
Format: The paper size set for the fax machine corresponds to the value set for the sheet feeder. The
preset values may nonetheless vary in accordance with the destination country of the fax
machine. In Italy the machine is preset to use A4 paper.
Depending on the paper size used, the actual print dimensions may vary. The printed area is
always slightly less than the actual size of the sheet.
The table below indicates the ratio between paper size and actual print dimensions:

Legal (215.9 X 355.6) mm
Reduction:
By reducing the size of the printed area of a received document, you can reduce the total
number of pages.
Surplus:
Received documents which exceed the specified printing limits may be managed using the
surplus function. By selecting YES, the surplus is managed and the text area exceeding the
accepted print dimensions overlaps onto the following pages.
By selecting NO, the surplus text is not considered.

AUTOMATIC RECEPTION MODE

This reception mode is best used when the fax machine and the telephone are connected to two separate
lines.
In this mode, the machine will receive incoming faxes autonomously without requiring your presence.

automatic mode.
