THE TELEPHONE ANSWERING DEVICE
Used for recording the annoucement that will precede the forwarding of
messages from the TAD to a remote telephone.
Used for programming OGM# 1 as an answering message without
letting the caller leave a message.
Used for enabling some "standard" messages, available in English only,
that classify the incoming messages recorded.
This function is closely related to the previous sub-menu and is used for
setting the current day from which the messages are to be classified.
Used for setting the maximum duration of messages left by the caller.
Used for programming a personal access code (key) so that the TAD
can be used in confidential mode.
Sets the TAD to answer calls after four rings instead of the usual two if
there are no new messages. In this way, you can find out whether
there are any new message, simply by dialling the number and if there
are not, you can hang up before the TAD answers, thus saving the cost
of the call.
Used for printing all the settings made in the TAD set-up.
