Rhythm Pattern Program
To change the Gate Time:
1
Select the note for which you want to
change the gate time (see step 1 on
page 148).

Press the Gate Time box to enable the
box.

Turn the Data Control dial to change the
Gate Time.
Changing the Voices for
Accompaniment parts
In Rhythm Pattern Program, you can create your original
drum patterns using Main Drum and Add Drum, and
original backing patterns using Chord 1 and Chord 2.
Moreover, you can change the Voices for all
accompaniment parts, including Pad, Phrase 1 and
Phrase 2.
Voices can be changed in the VOICE/EFFECT Page.

Press the [VOICE/EFFECT] button at the
top of the display to call up the VOICE/
EFFECT Page.

Press the [VOICE] button in the display.
The following display will appear.

Select the desired part for which you
wish to change the Voice.
The Voice menu appears.

Select the desired Voice, and the Voice
menu automatically closes.
NOTE
The Voice menu that appears here is not the same as the
one for the Voice Sections.
After selecting the desired Voice, customize the
accompaniment to your personal preference by adjusting
the volume and pan, and setting the desired effects (see
page 155).
