7 Slide the module into the slot until it makes contact with the backplane.
NOTE
Use the metal panel, not the circuit board, to guide the module into place.
As the module begins to seat in the chassis, the injector/ejector levers begin to close.
8 Use both hands to latch the injector/ejector levers by simultaneously pushing both handles toward
the center of the module, as shown in
9 Secure the module by tightening the screw on each injector/ejector lever.
NOTE
Tighten the screws of each installed module before you insert additional modules. Otherwise, you might unseat
modules that you have not secured.
To install additional modules, repeat steps
NOTE
Leave the ESD-preventive wrist strap permanently connected to the chassis so that it is always available when you
need to handle ESD-sensitive components.
