This chapter provides an overview of the DFE‐Diamond module capabilities, and introduces the
7GR4270‐12, 7GR4202‐30, 7GR4280‐19, and 7KR4290‐02 modules.
Depending on the firmware version used in the DFE module, some features described in this document may
not be supported. Refer to the Release Notes shipped with the DFE module to determine which features are
supported.
Overview of DFE Series Capabilities
The Diamond Distributed Forwarding Engine (DFE) is Enterasys Networks' next generation of
